Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Workshop Ski & Snowboard Technician (Ski Mechanic) to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools, takes pride in precise workmanship, and is comfortable in a fast, shop-style environment. You’ll tune skis and snowboards (waxing, edge sharpening, base repair), mount and adjust bindings, and ensure every setup leaves the shop safe, dialed, and ready for the mountain. Training is provided—no prior experience required—but candidates with tuning, mechanic, or tool-use experience will be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Service & Quality
- Perform daily tuning services: hot waxes, edge sharpening/deburring, base repairs (P-tex/epoxy), and base flattening/structure/edging as directed.
- Mount, adjust, and test ski and snowboard bindings according to manufacturer guidelines and shop procedures.
- Complete accurate intake and checkout: verify customer info, note damage, confirm service requests, and review finished work with the customer when needed.
- Diagnose common equipment issues (loose hardware, base/edge damage, stance/setup concerns) and recommend appropriate services.
- Maintain clean, organized benches and machines; perform routine maintenance (e.g., belt changes, stone/disk checks, tool sharpening) and report issues promptly.
- Follow all shop safety practices, including PPE use, chemical handling, and tool/machine lockout procedures as trained.
- Meet service timelines by prioritizing work orders and coordinating with the sales floor on due times and rush jobs.
- Assist with inventory tasks for shop supplies (waxes, base material, screws, jigs, brake retainers).
- Help with opening/closing routines and general shop upkeep, including periodic cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools (drills, drivers, files, scrapers, belt/stone equipment—training provided).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and precision.
- Ability to read measurements, follow templates/jigs, and complete accurate documentation on work orders.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, shop environment.
- Clear verbal communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No prior tuning or ski shop experience required—training provided.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (Optional):
- Prior experience in a ski/snowboard workshop, bike/ski tuning center, auto/machine shop, or similar mechanical role.
- Familiarity with ski/snowboard equipment, brands, and binding systems.
Pay Range

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-oriented Ski/Snowboard Sales Associate to join our team for the winter season. This role focuses on providing exceptional service to guests shopping for winter sports equipment, including skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, and related gear. The ideal candidate has a passion for skiing or snowboarding, enjoys sharing product knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. In addition to selling gear, this position involves supporting rental transactions, boot fitting, and helping customers make informed, safe, and confidence-building equipment choices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional manner.
- Assess customer needs and skill levels to recommend appropriate gear such as skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, and goggles.
- Assist with boot fitting and sizing, explaining differences between brands, flex, and features.
- Provide education on gear and technologies to support informed purchases.
- Accurately handle equipment rental transactions, ensuring proper fit and documentation.
- Offer safety-focused guidance for beginners.
- Address questions and resolve concerns with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Support exchanges and returns in accordance with store policy.
- Drive sales through knowledgeable recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Stay informed on the latest ski and snowboard gear, brands, and trends.
- Support merchandising by organizing displays and restocking gear with correct pricing and signage.
- Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently for both purchases and rentals.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including managing rental returns.
- Help keep the sales and rental areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Participate in inventory tasks, such as receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
- Follow safety protocols and loss prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and helpful customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must have knowledge of ski or snowboard equipment, either through personal use or prior work experience.
- Strong communication and people skills are essential.
- Must be comfortable helping customers with technical gear.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with using a point of sales system are helpful.
- The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with ski or snowboard rentals or boot fitting is a plus.
- Familiarity with Shopify point of sales is helpful.
- Previous experience in ski retail or a similar environment is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a bonus.

Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic and reliable part-time Rental Associates to join our team during peak ski and snowboard season. Rental Associates play an essential role in keeping our rental area running smoothly by assisting customers with equipment pickups and returns, supporting our expert boot fitters and rental staff, and helping maintain an organized flow in the shop. This is a great opportunity for high school or college students who enjoy an active, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and deliver the correct ski, snowboard, and boot equipment for customer reservations.
- Assist customers with rental returns and check-in equipment promptly.
- Keep the rental area organized and ensure smooth flow during busy periods.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Support store staff with general tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, energetic, and reliable team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving equipment throughout your shift.
