Custom Boot Fitting

A properly fitted boot can transform your time on the mountain. At Sno‑Haus, our expert staff offers personalized boot fitting to ensure maximum comfort, control, and performance.

From heat-molded liners to custom insoles and shell adjustments, we tailor every fit to your foot shape and skiing style. Whether you're buying new boots or fine-tuning your current pair, we’re here to help you ski better—and longer.

What to expect in-store

We do not provide socks for boot fittings, and proper socks are essential for comfort and fit. We strongly recommend bringing a pair of your own ski or snowboard socks, or you can purchase a pair from our store when you arrive.

Does my gear need a tune?

If you're wondering whether it's time for a tune-up, you're not alone. Regular maintenance not only improves your performance on the mountain—it also extends the life of your gear. Here’s how to know when it’s time to bring your skis or snowboard into the shop:

  • If your skis or board slide around on icy or hard-packed snow instead of carving cleanly, your edges likely need sharpening.
  • Edge rust and burrs can reduce control and make turning unpredictable—especially in tough conditions.
  • A chalky, dry-looking base means the wax has worn off. Waxing keeps your base hydrated, fast, and protected.
  • If you're working harder than usual to keep speed on flats or cat tracks, it’s probably time for a fresh wax.
  • As a general rule, regular skiers and riders should aim for at least one full tune per season—more if you're logging a lot of days or riding variable conditions.

Keep your gear in top shape

At Sno-Haus, our expert technicians offer a range of ski and snowboard tuning services—from hot waxes and edge sharpening to full stone grinds and base repairs. Whether you're prepping for your first run of the season or trying to squeeze out a few more powder days, we’ll help your gear perform its best.
