Refundable Deposits
All rentals require a refundable deposit. Daily rental gear is due back by 12 noon the day after the rental ends. $30 late fee per day afterwards.

Ski and Boot only rentals are available in store. Boot only rentals do not include binding adjustment on customer's skis ($25). Availability is best earlier in the season — the sooner you rent, the wider your gear selection. New equipment daily rentals = $50 fee.

Like most rental shops, Sno-Haus requires a fully refundable security deposit, which is returned when the equipment is brought back in good condition. Optional breakage protection is also available for $15; ask the counter for details.
Example: Junior Basic Ski Rental — $150 preseason rental + $170 refundable deposit = $320 due today. $170 refunded when equipment is returned in good condition.

Enjoy your equipment at any mountain knowing your boots were properly fitted and your bindings adjusted for you. If your child grows during the season or you have any fit or equipment issues, simply bring the gear back to us for a resize or adjustment.

Return your equipment to the same Sno-Haus location where you rented it. Rentals from the 2025/26 season are due back by October 15, 2026. For 2026/27 seasonal rentals, return equipment by March 15, 2027, or between our September 2027 reopening and October 15, 2027. Returns after the applicable deadline forfeit the refundable deposit. If you need an exception, contact us.

We take the time to explain your equipment, answer questions, and ensure everything fits perfectly - especially for first-time skiers or growing kids.
Two return windows apply, depending on your rental season. 2025/26 rentals: due back by October 15, 2026. 2026/27 rentals: due back by March 15, 2027, or between store reopening in September 2027 and October 15, 2027. Rentals returned after these dates forfeit the refundable deposit. Daily rentals are due back by 12 noon the day after the rental ends; late returns incur a $30/day fee.

No appointment is ever needed. Walk in to any Sno-Haus location for expert fitting any day we're open. Daily rentals may be sized and reserved in store up to one week ahead of your trip — please don't reserve much further in advance, since held gear can't be re-rented and that limits availability for other customers.

Yes! We offer flexible rental options, including boots-only, skis-only, and full packages.
Daily rentals: sized and reserved in store up to one week before your trip. Seasonal rentals: visit at least two weeks before your first ski day. The sooner you rent in the season, the wider the selection — the best availability is between September 15 and November 15.
Please bring a valid photo ID and a form of payment. Someone 18 or older must be present to sign for the equipment. We also recommend bringing or wearing your own ski or snowboard socks.
We do not rent helmets. For your safety, we recommend purchasing a properly fitted helmet.
All ski bindings at Sno-Haus are adjusted exclusively by our certified technicians—unlike many smaller rental shops. Annual recertification with Marker, Salomon, Atomic, Armada, Look, Tyrolia, Rossignol, and more.
Our stores close at the end of each season (mid to late March). We resume accepting returns when we reopen for the winter season in September, with a deposit-safe return window through October 15.
