Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in to any of our three stores during open hours for rentals, boot fitting or workshop drop-off. Appointments are never required.

Which store should I go to for boot fitting or tuning?

All three stores — Huntington, Greenvale and Hempstead — offer seasonal rentals, custom boot fitting and full tuning and repair. Pick whichever location is most convenient.

Are you really closed on Wednesdays?

Yes. All three stores are closed every Wednesday. Every other day of the week we are open, including Sundays.

Do your holiday hours change?

Holiday hours can differ from our regular schedule, especially around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Call the store directly before heading out on a holiday.

Can I rent for the whole season?

Yes. Seasonal packages for juniors and adults are our most popular option and include skis or a snowboard, boots and poles for the entire winter. See rental pricing and packages for details.

Oscar Kornblatt opened the first Sno-Haus Ski Shop in Hempstead in 1959. Sixty-six winters later we are still family run, still staffed by people who ski and ride, and now three stores strong.
