How to redeem your offer
Bring photo ID. We’ll confirm your eligibility in store at Sno-Haus Huntington. No need to call ahead.
Visit Sno-Haus Huntington for your fitting. Bring:
- Photo ID, required to verify eligibility. For an eligible child, the parent or guardian brings their own ID and confirms the child’s name.
- Your Snow Shed mailer or promotional code, if you have it.
- Your own ski or snowboard socks.
- A form of payment for the refundable deposit.
Valid through March 15, 2027, or while qualifying Basic rental inventory lasts, whichever comes first. Equipment is subject to availability in your size.
Return all equipment to Sno-Haus Huntington by March 15, 2027, or between the September 2027 reopening and October 15, 2027. If equipment is not returned by October 15, 2027, the deposit is forfeited and you keep the package as-is.

The package
What the free rental covers
One basic seasonal package per eligible renter, fitted to your current size — not necessarily the category or size you rented last year.
Included
- Ski package (adult or junior) — skis, boots, bindings, and poles.
- Snowboard package (adult or junior) — snowboard, boots, and bindings.
- Professional fitting by the Huntington team.
- Midseason size exchanges, subject to available basic inventory.
Want a premium package instead? Snow Shed customers can upgrade to a premium seasonal rental by paying the difference between the basic and premium rates. Ask the Huntington team at pickup.
Not included
- Helmets.
- Daily or weekend rentals.
- Merchandise, services, or any other rental product.
- Cash, store credit, or credit toward buying equipment.
The rental is free. A refundable deposit is still required.
Your qualifying basic seasonal rental charge is discounted to $0. You pay a refundable security deposit equal to the regular price of the package you receive. The deposit is not a rental charge, and it does not make the equipment yours during the rental period.
- Basic ski package deposit: Adult $230 / Junior $170
- Basic snowboard package deposit: Adult $290 / Junior $230
If you upgrade to a premium package, your refundable deposit is the regular price of that premium package. Any upgrade charge is separate and is not refunded when the equipment is returned.
Amounts match our standard basic seasonal rental pricing — see full rental pricing. You get the deposit back when all equipment is returned on time, complete, and in line with the Sno-Haus rental agreement. Approved refunds go to the original payment method; bank processing times vary.
If the gear is not returned by October 15, 2027
The security deposit is forfeited, and the complete rental package is considered purchased by you in its existing, as-is condition. No portion of the deposit is refunded.

You personally completed a seasonal rental with Snow Shed during the 2025/26 season.
Eligibility is confirmed in store against Snow Shed’s 2025/26 seasonal renter list. Photo ID is required. Bring your mailer or promotional code if available; it is not required for in-store verification. For an eligible child, the parent or guardian provides their own photo ID and confirms the child’s name.
You’re not eligible if
- You shopped at Snow Shed but did not complete a 2025/26 seasonal rental.
- A family member rented and you did not. A spouse, parent, child, or sibling’s rental does not extend to you.
- Someone passed their mailer or code along to you.
- You already redeemed the offer. It may be used once per eligible renter.
A note to Snow Shed's customers
We're sorry to see Snow Shed go. Since 1982 they've been part of Long Island's ski community, and we know how much that shop meant to the families who rented and shopped there.
When Chad decided to close, he asked us to look after his seasonal rental families. We said yes, and we wanted to do it properly — so if you rented a season package from Snow Shed in 2025/26, your next basic seasonal package at our Huntington store is free. You cover a refundable deposit, which is returned when all equipment comes back on time, complete, and in accordance with the rental agreement.

Can I take my rental equipment home the same day?
Often, yes. If your skis or snowboard are already sharpened and waxed, and we can complete the binding adjustments that day, you can take your equipment home after your fitting.
Your fitting is completed in one visit, but you may need to return on a later date to collect your equipment. This is typically because we still need to sharpen, wax or adjust the bindings before it is ready. Same-day pickup is not guaranteed.

No. This offer is available only at Sno-Haus Huntington. Fitting, pickup, rental service, size exchanges and returns for this offer must all be handled at Huntington, not Greenvale or Hempstead.

Usually not. A Sno-Haus Huntington manager can approve minor discrepancies — a misspelling, a married-name change, a child listed only under a parent's account, or a receipt showing a family purchase without naming every renter — when the Snow Shed record clearly supports the claim. Bring photo ID, and for a child, the parent or guardian brings their own ID and confirms the child's name.

No, you never need an appointment for rentals or workshop services. When you arrive we'll ask you to sign in and provide basic contact information. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing so we have time to complete your fitting.
