Sundown Greenvale Ski & Patio
Sundown Greenvale opened in 1979 at 47 Northern Boulevard, serving generations of winter enthusiasts. In 2021, the Mandel family took over ownership and operations.
In July 2025, they expanded by bringing Sno-Haus under their umbrella and rebranding as Sno-Haus Greenvale. The move united two of the industry’s oldest names and created Long Island’s largest ski and snowboard shop network.

Almost everything is the same - same staff, same store, same curated selection of ski and snowboard gear, clothing, and accessories.
When do you open?
When do you open?
Sno-Haus Greenvale is open year round. In the winter we focus on ski and snowboard gear, rentals, apparel, and accessories. In the spring and summer we transition to patio furniture, umbrellas, and Adirondack chairs.

Yes — all three locations have experienced boot fitters on staff. It's what we're known for. We fit guarantee all of our boot sales for life.

Yes, we rent skis, ski boots, poles, snowboards, and snowboard boots. Both junior and adult full-package seasonal rentals are available. We also offer daily and weekend rentals. All customers receive $20 (junior) or $30 (adult) off a full-package seasonal rental when purchased before October 15.

No, you never need an appointment for rentals or workshop services. When you arrive we'll ask you sign in and provide basic contact and demographic information so we can properly work on your equipment. From there our staff will guide you through the rest of the process. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before closing for all rental fittings to ensure we have time to complete your rental before the store closes.
