We're sorry to see Snow Shed go. Since 1982 they've been part of Long Island's ski community, and we know how much that shop meant to the families who shopped there.
If you're looking for a new local shop, we'd be glad to help. Our Huntington store is about 40 minutes west on Jericho Turnpike, and our boot fitters, tuners, and team will be ready when our doors open the first week of September.

Yes — all three locations have experienced boot fitters on staff. It's what we're known for. We fit guarantee all of our boot sales for life.

Yes, we rent skis, ski boots, poles, snowboards, and snowboard boots. Both junior and adult full-package seasonal rentals are available. We also offer daily and weekend rentals. Snow Shed customers get $20 (junior) or $30 (adult) off a full-package seasonal rental through October 15.

No, you never need an appointment for rentals or workshop services. When you arrive we'll ask you sign in and provide basic contact and demographic information so we can properly work on your equipment. From there our staff will guide you through the rest of the process. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before closing for all rental fittings to ensure we have time to complete your rental before the store closes.
